Maple bacon ice pops

Chef Randy Feltis‘ quick-to-make ice pops are the perfect mix of sweet and salty, plus they’re oh-so-Canadian!

Maple bacon ice pops

Serves 10-20
Cook time: 10-20 minutes
Prep time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup crispy double smoked bacon
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Crushed ice

Reduce syrup on the stove by 1/4 or until the temperature hits 230F. Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes. Transfer into a measuring cup with a spout. Pour small amount onto crushed ice and let sit for 10 seconds. Sprinkle with bacon and roll around stick.
